Let me apologise to all our readers, for the editorial team inability to produce and send out the April edition of our newsletter. It was due to circumstances beyond our control. We are now back in action. The YSWA boat cruise took place on the 18th of March 2023. It was well attended and there were lots of fun, food, dancing and Yoruba language competition. Kudos to YSWA Social Secretary and other organising committee members for a job well done.
On behalf of the management committe of YSWA, I congratulate the management of
Nigerian Musim Association of WA (NIMAWA) for a wonderful Eid Al Adha celebration. YSWA was invited and ably represented by the Vice President Dr Wale Adesina and other YSWA Exco members. Thank you to the Exco of NIMAWA for the invitation. We look forward to future celebrations. The preparation for the election of new YSWA management committee is about to start with appointment of electoral committee. The election is proposed to take place end of September 2023 with formal handover to the new management committee at a ceremony scheduled to take place during the Yoruba day celebration on 6th November 2023
